Gleaming Gold

Today was a day of gold! Gold glitter on my eyes that is. So I have a few eye glitters and every now and again I purchase one that grabs my attention, but for some strange reason glitter glue never seems to draw me. I never ever remember to pick it up. Today I really wanted to play with this gold glitter, but again had no glue so I did what everyone does and turned to good old YouTube. I saw things like liquid latex, eyelash glue, and eyeliner. Well I have hooded eyes so I figured the first two were not the best idea for me. I could just see myself gluing my eyelids together. So eyeliner it is... I first used an eyeshadow base and only set it and applied eyeshadow from the crease up. I was thinking the stickier the better. As I was digging through my gel pencil liners I came across a long lost loved and decided to use that, my Stila Kitten cream shadow. That is pretty tacky right!? So I did one eye at a time and was super impressed that glitter stuck on there and it stayed all day! I was highly impressed. So I went off in the day to a great party with the gleaming glitter on my eyes... or maybe I just went to Wal Mart and wore sweats, but I was still looking and feeling FABULOUS! So try out some new glitters and go on and feel great! Glitter may just be my current favorite of the moment. Unfortunately, I am not the best at capturing this gold beauty, but I tried my best!
